Protea Hotel Namibia (Pty) Ltd operates under the umbrella body of Protea Hospitality Corporation, one of Africa’s largest and leading hotel groups with 120 hotels situated in 15 countries in Africa and the Middle East.
As of April 2008, Protea Hotels Namibia is now fully owned by United Africa Group, thereby realizing their objectives and mission to develop Namibian skills and management presence at a higher level.
To date, Protea Hotels Namibia owns 11 hotels of which 10 are situated in Namibia, and 1 in Ethiopia. Protea Hotels Namibia manages 2 additional hotels in Namibia.

Protea Hotel Ondangwa
Protea Hotel Ondangwa is situated in the cultural heartland of Namibia, approximately 92km from the spectacular Etosha National Park in the far north of the country. Represented by most government ministries and financial institutions, Ondangwa’s cutural experience offers informal markets and a host of experiences. Protea Hotel Ondangwa offers 90 air-conditioned and en-suite rooms, including 2 suites, as well as a bar, restaurant and conference facilities.
Leisure facilities include a swimming pool and gardens, while nearby attractions include a Cuca shop tour and cultural tourism route.
Protea Hotel Pelican Bay

Protea Hotel Zambezi River
Set in natural surroundings on the banks of the Zambezi River, Protea Hotel Zambezi River offers comfortable facilities, ideal for an overnight stay en-route to the many tourist destinations in the area.
Accommodation comprises 27 en-suite rooms overlooking the serene Zambezi River, garden and pool areas as well as a restaurant and bar facilities.

Protea Long Beach Lodge is situated on Long Beach, approximately 15km from both Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. The lodge is a mere 500m away from the Namib Desert Dunes, and offers 16 individual rooms and 1 family room.
Hotel Lake Awassa​

Hotel Awassa is situated on the banks of Lake Awassa, Ethiopia, about 200 km south of Addis Ababa. It has 21 chalets, a restaurant and bar facility.
It is currently being refurbished to a 4 star hotel.
