George joined UAG in September 2010 with a background in Accounting & Finance from the Polytechnic of Namibia.

He is a full voting member of the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa and has worked in lead roles in Internal Auditing for the Lewis Group Ltd in Namibia and South Africa, where after he joined Iliad Africa Group in South Africa as Group Internal Auditor.

He brings with him a vast and in depth knowledge and skills in Internal Auditing, Risk Management and Investigations. At UAG, he provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services to improve the effectiveness of Risk Management, Control and Governance Process that will add value and improve the Group’s operations.
